George Takei educating the ignorant
The Zygons, a race of shapeshifting aliens, have been living in secret among us on Earth, unknown and unseen – until now! When Osgood is kidnapped by a rogue gang of Zygons, the Doctor, Clara and UNIT must scatter across the world in a bid to set her free. But will they reach her in time, and can they stop an uprising before it’s too late?
The Zygon Invasion premieres Next Saturday, October 31
Each semester, interns at Johnson Space Center (JSC) have the opportunity to contribute to our agency’s missions and help us lead the frontier of human space exploration. Interns at JSC also have the opportunity to enhance their experience through weekly meetings to discuss social and professional development topics, and can also get involved in many different committees.
The intern video committee from each semester comes up with ideas and carries out the entire process of creating a video that puts a creative, youthful spin on spreading NASA messages.
Here are a few highlights from some of the great intern videos that have been created:
NASA is Good
This latest intern video is based off of Andy Grammer’s “Honey, I’m Good”. This video is designed as an outreach video to raise interest around the One-Year Mission aboard the International Space Station and the Pathways and Student Intern opportunities.
Created in 2015
All About that Space
This intern video was created as a parody of Meghan Trainor’s “All About That Bass”. They lyrics and scenes in the video have been re-imagined in order to inform the public about the amazing work going on at NASA and the Johnson Space Center.
Created in 2014
NASA Johnson Style
NASA Johnson Style was created as an educational parody of Psy’s “Gangnam Style”. The intent of the video is to inform the public about the work being done at Johnson Space Center and throughout the agency.
Created in 2012
I.S.S. Baby
A group of NASA interns collaborated to create the I.S.S Baby video based off of Vanilla Ice’s “Ice, Ice, Baby”. The video was designed as an outreach video to raise interest around the International Space Station.
Created in 2008
There are plenty more JSC intern videos. You can watch more and learn about the work done at JSC and throughout the agency HERE.

When Ameneh Bahrami rejected a man’s marriage proposal, he turned bitter and threw acid into her face leaving her with extreme disfigurements. She went through 19 agonising operations and is permanently blind, but this didn’t stop her wanting justice on the man who ruined her life. In court, the judge wanted the accused to serve a lengthy prison sentence and pay full compensation to Ameneh, but she had different ideas: She asked if she could have exact revenge, by injecting acid into the man’s eyes. The court allowed it as a capital punishment, and arrangements were made for Ameneh to inject 20 drops of acid into her attacker’s eyes to blind him.

I Never Want To Understand Sand By Neil deGrasse Tyson, Astrophysicist
One of the most rewarding parts of scientific research is the way it enriches my appreciation of the universe. The more I learn, the more beautiful the world becomes—it’s what drives me to stay curious, to keep asking questions. With that said, there is a substance called sand I know almost nothing about, and I should make it clear that this is by choice. I never want to understand sand.

Let’s go on an adventure.
His name is Ken. He has grown up dreaming about someday having a shelter to help the stray animals that live near his home, but he never dreamed he could reach his goal so soon.

I’m sick of losing people. Look at you, with your eyes, your never giving up, your anger, and your… kindness. And one day, remembering that will hurt so much that I won’t be able to breathe.

Correct predictions in Back To The Future II
Neil deGrasse Tyson Fact-Checks ‘Back to the Future II’
Neil deGrasse Tyson has never been shy about separating fact from fiction, even when it comes to the sometimes fantastical world of Hollywood. (It’s because of the noted astrophysicist that James Cameron corrected the star field in one of Titanic’s most important scenes.) So it’s hardly surprising that, in honor of Back to the Future Day, he took to Twitter to craft a multi-tweet report card on what Back to the Future II got right—and wrong—about what October 21, 2015 would look like.
The biggest takeaways? Hoverboards are coming, double neckties will never be a thing, and Tyson’s not betting on the Cubs in the World Series.

I actually just mailed Kabuki out today for a different trade. :/ Are there any others of mine that you might want in place of Kabuki? Because I'd be down trading for the ones you listed. If not I can decide between them so it's still a 1:1 trade.
Aww :( Is Muffy still available?
When Merritt Smith brought her 4-year-old daughter to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, the last thing she wanted her daughter to hear was “I bet he likes you.” Nearly 30,000 people have shared her Facebook post about the incident, with the hospital owning up to the mistake.

Hi villagers!!!
I bought many packets of amiibo cards and have many duplicates. I’m looking to trade with others for the cards I don’t have. The cards I have are in perfect condition. I will only be trading specials for specials 1:1 and villagers for villagers 1:1 for the time being. Will only ship within the US. If interested you can contact me thru here or email me at : wiindy.r@gmail.com
( yes that’s a double ii ;))
If you need more prove I can take more pictures.
Updated 10/24: I just bought another pack and have three more for trade: 009 Digby, 024 Kyle, and 060 Samson.
Cards I have for trade:
Villagers:
022 Leonardo x 3
025 Al
038 Patty
Cards I need:
Villagers:
018 Bob (pending)
021 Portia
023 Cheri (pending)
029 Rasher
034 Kiki (pending)
077 Cherry (pending)
When trading amiibo cards you should be courteous and follow this guide for the best trading experience.
I recommend this for anyone trading cards:
1. Have the person you are trading with send you a picture of the cards you are trading with their username written out on paper. 2. When sending out the envelope don’t just drop it in the mailbox. TAKE IT TO THE POSTOFFICE. It’s an additional 20¢-22¢ (somewhere around there) to make sure it doesn’t go through the processor so the cards won’t get bent. 3. While at the post office make sure they use the “DO NOT BEND” stamp at he same time so the cards don’t get messed up. 4. Put something nice in. Whether it’s a note, some pins or buttons, or even just a cute card cover.
It’s important to talk with he person you are trading. Nintendo wants you to trade cars and be social. That’s why they didn’t just put them all in one card pack for everyone. Don’t rip people off. Animal crossing is a safe haven where everyone can be friends. Please reblog this and add any important info!!! 🌼😁✌🏻️✌🏻😁🌼
