Wedding troubles.

Finished the first chapter, sorry if it's cringe

Summery: Black Hat proposed to Flug and now he’s determined to give Flug the perfect wedding.

Never, never in a million years would Black Hat have ever guessed that he would end up falling in love with his spineless weakling of a scientist. Honestly he was still pretty surprised that it happened at all.

Four years ago he suddenly found himself wanting to be around Flug more, to spend time around him without scolding him or making him fear for his life, next thing he knew they were officially dating. Next they started sharing a bed, having meals together, going on dates, and earlier that day he got on one knee with a ring which had the biggest red diamond he could get and asked Flug to marry him. He would never forget the look of pure joy on Flugs face as he accepted with tears in his eyes.

Currently they were both laying in bed, Flug was fast asleep while Black Hat was lost in thought. He didn't know much about weddings,  but he knew the basics of it, it was a human ritual where lovers declare their unending love to each other, he didn't see why it was necessary but it seemed to be important to humans, which was confirmed by Flugs reaction.

From what research he did, weddings can be big time events or a small gathering, he wasn't sure which they would end up doing (he'd have to talk to Flug about it in the morning), but one thing he knew for a fact, that he would make it perfect. Flug was the love of his life, one of the only things in this miserable world that he truly cared about, and therefore he would only get the best of anything.

Black Hats thoughts were interrupted by the sound of rustling sheets. Black Hat looked to his side to find that Flug changed positions in his sleep, his back now facing Black Hat. He looked so small under the comforter,  from this angle Black Hat had a clear view of Flugs back, which was covered in old scars from past abuse. Black Hat may be have been violent in the past, but he knew better than to  leave lasting marks or damage, that would effect productivity.

He's seen them before, he knew they were from Flugs father because he wanted Flug to be 'normal', to 'stop acting like a boy' , and of course 'why can't you be more like your brother'.

Flug had suffered a lot in his life, from his abusive fathers beatings, his manipulative mother always guilt tripping him into doing what his parents wanted, and his superhero brother making him have to hide his face because if any villain saw it, they would recognize him as looking like Goldheart. Because of this Black Hat always did what he could to make Flugs life as perfect as possible, and this would be no different. Their wedding was going to be perfect. He would make sure of it.

It was 6:00 AM, Black Hat was watching as the rising sun illuminated Flugs face. Ever since they started sharing a bed Flug started to sleep without his bag, giving Black Hat the opportunity to admire every aspect of Flugs face, his scars from the plane crash that landed him in Black Hats mansion, his greying brown hair from stress and poor diet, even his buck teeth were cute. Usually Black Hat hated things he found cute but Flug seemed to be an exception. Black Hat didn't need to sleep so he usually spent his nights watching over Flug as he slept.

Flugs eyes slowly fluttered open, the light on his face having woken him up, he gave Black Hat a small smile as his vision gained focus, "morning" he said in a hushed voice, still groggy.

"Good morning dear." Black Hat purred lovingly, pulling Flug in for a quick kiss before they both got out of bed to get ready for the day.

Once in the dining room for breakfast Flug was immediately stopped by Demencia excitedly gushing about their engagement.

"This is amazing! That ring is gorgeous! When's the wedding? Can I PLEASE be the flower girl?"

Flug groaned and answered her with "we got engaged yesterday Dem, we can talk about that stuff later." While sipping his coffee and wondering how she could be so giddy in the early morning. Flug deciding he had enough energy to eat, sat at the table where 505 set a plate of pancakes.

"Thanks 505." He said to the bear, who gave a happy "baw." With a big smile on his face.

Flug wasted no time digging in, practically inhaling his food. Once he was done he quickly put his plate in the sink, finished his coffee and urged Black Hat to his office so they could discus wedding plans. They almost immediately decided that a big wedding was a bad idea, due to most of the inhabitants of hat island being Black Hat followers and fangirls, and the bigger issues of heroes finding out. Their relationship wasn't exactly a secret, there were several viral photos and videos of them being seen out on dates, killing heroes together and especially the one of them making out in front of a burning hospital, the general public new about their relationship. So if a hero found out about them getting married they would no doubt crash the wedding in an attempt to catch them off guard. A small wedding was the safest option.

Next they discussed what kind of guest list they should have. "Usually friends and family and invited, correct?" Black Hat recounted from the research (quick google search) regarding weddings. Flug seemed uncomfortable at the mention of family, "Well yes, usually, but there can be exceptions, depending on relationships." Flug responded, wanting to drop the subject of family. "I see, that makes makes this more simple regarding our situations." Flugs relationship with his family isn't exactly good. His parents treated him horribly once they found out his brother had superpowers, straight A's not being enough to satisfy them anymore. His relationship with his brother was more complicated, Goldheart was never outwardly cruel, but it wasn't really good either. They only really got along as young children, when Goldheart discovered his powers they got more distant, Goldheart usually being busy hanging out with friends or being praised by their parents. They only realy interacted when Goldheart wanted help with studying, felt the need to "protect his baby sister" from bullies or creepy boys, or on the weekends when he got a new video game and wanted to show Flug. Their relationship only went down hill with Flugs growing resentment of their parents liking Goldheart more no matter what he did, and Goldhearts ignorance of the abuse Flug was receiving and his gender identity problems. When Flug became a villain his parents practically disowned him with Goldheart treating him like he was a lost puppy that ran away, acting like it was just a phase (another reason why he hid his face). Not to mention the fact that “Kathleen” was declared missing 19 years ago when he was brought to Black Hat institute. As for Black Hat, being an ancient eldritch being he didn't have a family, making inviting any family off the table.

Continuing the discussion Flug talked about inviting close friends like Penumbra, suddenly Flug shot up in his seat looking at his watch in shock. "OH NO, I need to get to work!" Flug practically sprinted to the door talking so fast Black Hat almost didn't hear him say "sorry I have to get to work I'll talk to you at lunch I love you bye!" Just before closing the door. As much as Black hat would like to spend all day with Flug and planning their wedding, they still have a business to run.

Now alone, Black Hat pulled out a laptop from his drawer (one that Flug got him after he broke the tablet). If he was going to give Flug a perfect wedding then he needed to know more about them. He could research and continue planning while Flug worked and discuss it more on his lunch break, giving Flug less things to stress about.

He was Black Hat after all, their was almost nothing he couldn't do, besides, how hard could planning a wedding be?

My headcanons of lizzy and her dad (the teacher)

1. Because the teacher is voiced by Liam vickers and the iconic solitaire scene I hc his name is Liam Solitaire or Mr. Solitaire, making lizzy’s full name lizzy solitaire.

2. Even though lizzy threatens to make her dad do stuff in school it’s just empty threats since he wouldn’t actually do it, and her influence is so effective that no one found out and her dad doesn’t care enough to correct her.

3. When lizzy gets any grades that might get her out of school her dad bumps up the grades just enough to keep her in and scolds her for having such low grades so she studies more, not that he’d tell anyone.

4. He was fully aware of V sleeping over and was not bothered since by now he was used to lizzy’s antics.

5. Lizzy secretly plays card games with her dad sometimes and enjoys it.

Sanemi: I had a dream you killed my sister so now I’m going to kill you

Kokushibo: wtf

I'm the same one that asked about Kokushibo in the femya murder siblings au, but how did Sanemi react to seeing Yorrichi, Kokushibo/Michikatsu's twin. Because they sure do look similar

Pre killing kokushibou: he’s very staggered, in my murderer siblings fanfic I found it very hard to balance sanemi’s general thirst for blood and the adrenaline of killing vs. his main goal being protecting Genya and everything and everyone being labeled away as “threat” to varying levels of degrees.

So his initial reaction, especially if he thinks Yoriichi is kokushibo, is like all the other ones: “what does he want with her, how can I dismantle him if I need to, how and when can I kill him”

But after he realizes it’s Yoriichi and not Kokushibou I think Sanemi settles down a little more, from his relationship with Kagaya, Sanemi in this verse specifically is willing and capable to hold respect and love for other people even if it’s not nearly to the same extent as the affections he holds for his sister obvi. So I think he’d look at Yoriichi and feel respect and maybe even some awe for the man and leave him be, especially knowing that he’s been reincarnated to have the life he deserves after almost wholly dismantling Muzan and helping strengthen the core to the point they could one day kill Muzan.

After killing kokushibou:

Sanemi would be extremely nervous seeing Yoriichi, he knows the man is far more intelligent than most people give credit for, that and if it came down to Yoriichi vs. Sanemi in any life, Sanemi knows Yoriichi would more than likely defeat him. Even trying to jump the man is extremely risky in this instance, so I imagine Sanemi would give it time and pack him and Genya up and leave. It’s not out of cowardice, and it’s really the smartest decision he could make.

And the reason I say this is because I imagine Yoriichi would not stop at anything to find his brothers murderer whether or not it’s kokushibou who has reincarnated or if it’s Michikatsu.

(There’s a difference to me over the two and I’d be happy to explain that somewhere else)

And Sanemi is just very very lucky in this scenario that he has his past life’s memories stuck in his head to know Yoriichi is not the person to cross. Unfortunately for Yoriichi, he does not have that same fortune although I believe he would suspect Sanemi anyway. But Sanemi just could not handle the idea of Kokushibou/Michikatsu walking around, “clean of his sins” while Sanemi has to wake up every day with the image of the demon killing his sister seared into his mind.

So he makes one of his worst mistakes and kills him, doesn’t matter if he was innocent in this modern world, to Sanemi he was nothing more than another face on the chopping block and god be damned if he were not going to fulfill his duty.

Ok, so I’ve seen quite a bit of the au where Polites is revived by Apollo and takes the role of Circe

But it got me thinking

What if he got revived as one of Circe’s nymphs?

Hear me out

Apollo revives him as a nymph and puts him on an island where nymphs are protected by Circe

Circe sees him and is cautious, but when she sees that he’s a nymph she immediately goes into worried mother mode and takes him in

Circe and Polites get along great, and the nymphs like Polites too (because who wouldn’t)

Polites tells Circe that he doesn’t remember anything except his name and Circe tries to find a way to get his memories back with her magic

Odysseus and crew show up and Odysseus runs into Polites and recognizes him

This would make Circe even more hostile towards Odysseus because in her eyes, a strange man just took interest in one of her nymphs

The whole fight thing happens and Odysseus explains to Circe that he actually knew Polites before (romantically or platonically, you decide) and that he died

I just think it’d be interesting, tell me what you think

He used echo location, that’s why he took so long to get to Uzi and V, because their fight was so quiet

And it's not just cause I love Huntric so much but because I don't see the chemistry between them and the writing of their dynamic is the wonkiest of writing I've ever seen. Especially in Any Storm (the messiest episodr imo) both characters are completely bastardized because they're forced together in one episode that contradicts itself and pulled so many 180s.

The more I realize it, I got so sick of Hunter being used like a tortured plot device rather than an actual character at times, and characters like Willow getting little to no growth as an individual not even episode with just her, not even a proper closure between her and Amity.

Yeah sounds harsh but when Lumity and Raeda are written so well including the individuality of each character in their ship, the standard is set so high for me.
