the moment they became besties 🥰
Headcannon that Anakin and Ahsoka are both vine children and they always quote them on missions, and Obi Wan has absolutely no idea what they are talking about
And then after like a year, they got all the clones to talk in vines too
This is soooo true her accent is so remarkable.
Collectively, as a fandom, with the wonderful variety of talents that we represent?!
We've taken the source material (TCW and TBB in this case) and expanded it into this whole world, fleshing out each character with layers and layers that somehow all go together. We took a few scenes and created a ripple effect of art pieces, fanfics, mood boards, playlists, one-shots, comic strips, and so much more... and it all FITS.
Like, I think of any one of these beloved characters, and they exist not only on the screen but in this whole expanded world where we somehow all got the same ideas about them and ran with it.
It's an incredible thing to be a part of. <3
So here's to you -- artists, writers, musicians, and creatives of all types. Give yourself some credit and reblog to spread the love.
THE BAD BATCH FINALE MEME DUMP PART 2
Captain Rex (The King)
I've throughly enjoyed watching his character development since 2008.
rex doing his dramatic little identity reveal every time he meets someone. the way he flips the hood of his cloak back just screams "i used to work alongside a number of sassy jedi and boy did they loooove being all mysterious behind their droopy fucking robes"
he definitely picked that shit up from ahsoka who learned it from anakin who learned it from the one and only obi-wan kenobi. they're a lineage of drama queens.
my favorite genre is clones meeting jedi for the first time and dealing with weird force shit. the whole concept of space wizards/monks being military leaders is so funny when u think about it.
just imagine you're a soldier since birth. you're trained to be logical and strategic. then your commanding officer struts in with no armor like "okay we're doing this battle battle plan cuz it came to me in a dream last night!" or "be alert. i'm getting bad vibes." and u can't say anything bc it's ur commanding officer but ur internal monologue is just 'what the fuck what the fuck what the-'
Anakin: Would you slap your best friend for a million credits? Rex: I would roundhouse kick you in the face for free. Anakin, tearing up: I'm your best friend.
thought I'd share this. Thank you Captain!
Din: Says some insane cult-y things Bo-Katan: 👀 This might be the Way? 👀
The range of emotion in this man's face... From awkward gentleness to fierce protectiveness to vulnerability to reflection... Beautiful.
I keep thinking about how there is a delicate balance of the emotional behaviors of the Batch and you can see it best in what a lot of people complained was a filler episode, that being The Crossing, and to an extent also Aftermath.
In Aftermath we have the infamous food fight scene, which is preceded by Tech and Wrecker's continuing argument about programmed behavior. This will not be the first time Tech and Wrecker argue if they're left to freely interact; it comes up numerous times in the series, and (IMO anyways) stems from the fact that Wrecker is outwardly emotional and Tech is almost 100% inwardly emotional. Tech doesn't process externally like Wrecker does, and has a certain amount of trouble communicating with Wrecker, and Wrecker with him, as a result. So who steps in most of the time?
Crosshair and Echo, and by The Crossing, both of them are gone.
Crosshair is the one who tries to diffuse their argument in the mess hall, placating Wrecker while giving Tech a blatant look of 'stop antagonizing him and eat goddamnit'. He also serves as an added focus for Wrecker's Wreckerness, which means he's less likely to collide with Tech and have an argument ensue. We can see Wrecker variously joshing with the two of them in the TCW episodes and in Aftermath.
Once Cross is missing from the group, it's Echo who acts as the buffer, standing firm against Tech's chaotic nature and Wrecker's emotional reactions. Hunter wrangles them, but Echo actually manages them. It's a very different approach and we see first hand how necessary it was the second Echo is gone. Wrecker and Tech are bickering nonstop and Hunter barely has a handle on them. For the most part he seems prepared to let them sort it out, and I don't know he can be blamed for that.
This is almost the entire point of The Crossing as an episode: to demonstrate how important the group was as a complete team. Not in the sense of 'omg everyone brings one important thing/skill to the table' way but in an emotional, supportive way. Echo was the co-lead Hunter probably needed the entire time, gelled with him perfectly in that roll and tempered Hunter's hesitation with decisiveness while keeping the other three from setting the Galaxy on fire. Cross, Tech, and Wrecker formed a sort of balanced triangle between themselves which kept things at an even keel. With Cross gone, Echo fell into this role, somewhat naturally. This is all on display in The Crossing when we finally see what happens when that triangle is broken and Tech and Wrecker have to directly interact on a consistent basis. It gets messy.
And yet people complain about it being 'filler' and not advancing the plot.
imagine how irritating it must be to be bo-katan because Just Some Guy™ fought the guy u wanted to fight, got the dark saber that u wanted and Accidentally became the ruler of the planet u wanted to rule, and now his weird green baby comes to ask u to save his ass? u can’t even sulk in peace
In case anyone needs it, I have the "library" of every clone that has an official name in the Clone Wars.
It's a sheet of gifs but it still has everyone (except the newest characters from Bad Batch they haven't been added yet.)
A gift.

Thank you to user @chartingneptune for the link.)
Just found this video 🤣
my contribution to TBB fandom after THIS finale...
I refuse to believe he is dead
NO BODY-NOT DEAD as Star Wars showed us many times now
Pls enjoy some miscellaneous high-contrast icons that I am tired of seeing in my drafts folder.
I think Soup Clone might be my [old] new favorite meme.
Im completely fine and sane not in denial or anything just fine what a great happy ending hahahahahahahaha
Me seeing the Mando girlies getting the happy ending us Bad Batch girlies dreamed of
I really sat here thinking they were gonna save Crosshair and be a happy family again
Sorry I got some of the menu stuff in them...
Can't stop laughing at Wrecker's gleeful "OHH YEAH!"
And Crosshair hitting his limit and just FLATTENING someone with a tray, Captain America style.
You are now Din Grogu, Mandalorian apprentice.
I have a very silly completely unserious headcanon that the answer to the question about whether “Tech” is short for “Technology” or “Technically” is, “Yes.” Tech’s full name is Technician Technology Technically Technetium-99 Medtech Badbatch. He adds a new middle name every few years.
So Tech survives (shut up, he survives I said) only now he doesn't have his goggles and Hoelock has no reason to give him new ones. Cue him and Crosshair escaping only our man is half blind and Crosshair has to drag him by the hand so he doesn't get lost (has already happened once), walk into the line of fire (has already happened more than once) or walk into something (don't even ask).
By the end Crosshair is this 🤏 close to locking him in a janitor's closet and coming back for him once he's shot down every stormtrooper in the base. The only reason he hasn't done it yet is because he needs him to hack doors.
I haven’t been watching the bad batch, but I’m pretty sure when the Tech Girlies said they wanted him without his goggles, this isn’t what they meant.
