somebody in the tags of a previous post of mine said they loved how I drew rue in their true form, and I’m so honoured by that so of course I have to deliver more rue!! this one is not based off any particular painting, I just wanted to imagine what outfit rue might have worn to the meeting with hob and andhera.

if hob has dreamt of rue, I think the dreams may look something like this; haunted by peonies. another beautiful painting by waterhouse this time that I felt the need to fit these two into. I cannot wait for episode 6.

This time this painting is entirely original and not based off of anything! This moment got me in the gut and I absolutely had to make some art of it (and include the darcy hand flex, of course)

since my klimt rendition of these two is now outdated due to episode four I decided to make another battlemaster of ceremonies work, this time with rue in their beautiful true form!!! the meeting on the turret stairs is so so beautiful and suits them quite well I think. thank you for all the love on my previous the kiss fanart, this community is so lovely <3

I haven’t even seen episode 3 yet but I’ve been thinking so much about these two. I’m getting dropout again soon so I can tune back into acofaf and soothe my soul.

edit: I don’t know if editing a post is a weird thing to do on tumblr but I have to say I’ve been so flattered and bowled over by the amount of love on this post!!! I got this tumblr account to further my dnd obsession as a lurker and never planned to post that much, but I’ll try to post some more dimension 20 art in the future, maybe inspired by different paintings if anyone has any suggestions!!! thank you again very much <3 <3 <3

If someone doesn't write it I'll have to do it myself. This is a legal requirement for me, I cant just hyperfixate on them to not write this if no one else does.

If i dont get a sick ass post canon fanfic of Binx and Andhera exploring the wonders of mortal realm, finding the missing members of Binx’s court, and talking about their relationship and what it means for Andhera to be a part of two courts I’ll lose my mind. I need MOREEEEEE

i would just like to point out that the blue fairy never noticed the switch between binx and gwyn, like the blue fairy is literally gwyndolins sister, and she never noticed that this person isn't even her sister/sibling.

3 hours until the new episode of acofaf. if i suddenly start screaming you now know why. im literally vibrating with excitement. i cant wait to hear the rumors this time :)))).

I just wanna talk about the beauty of Binx and Andheras relationship.

When Binx had the glamour of Gwyn she was gifted half of a shell from Andhera. Unintentionally he gave them a thing that holds beauty but isn't complete due to part of it missing. This is stupidly symbolic of Binx and their court.

Then theres the moment in the maze. How Andhera sees Binx, realizes that shes Gwyn by her eyes. They see her for who she truly is and accepts her entirely. I'm not gonna lie I was on the floor with emotions because of this simple moment.

Then one of the moments that made everyone scream, the crystal heart. We know from the great hart hunt that Andhera feels most comfortable in the darkness and we later learn how truly awful his court treated him. He could use the crystal heart to finally get the respect he deserves but instead they find Binx and place it in their hand. And she in turn mirrors that moment in the maze of recognition even though they can't see who it is, for she knows this is Andhera by his scent alone just as they knew it was Binx by her eyes alone. I'm just gonna stop before I go on forever about this but it was such a beautiful moment.

THE LETTERS! We as an audience are very much aware of the fact Andhera is absolute shit with words but their able to shape the words so elegantly for Binx, the letter comes from the heart for him and it's evident in how wonderful the letter ends up being. Binx leaves a simple note but sometimes the shortest phrases have the most impact. They see each other and they let the other know that.

I could go on and on about the moment in Binxs quarters but I won't. (this is in fact a lie I absolutely am) Andhera trusts them enough to ask them to make him the outfit for the ball. The vulnerability and trust that Andhera shows and gives Binx without a second thought when showing them the shard. How Binx basically spits out her disgust for what the unseelie court did to Andhera. How Andhera is a oath of devotion paladin and he swears an oath to Binxs cause. The knighting of Andhera by Binx, someone who is not of his court but is more deserving of his devotion than his court.

The apple moment lives in my head rent free as well. Andhera has never truly known what it is to have a loving family and in that moment of sharing a memory he was able to experience it for probably the first time in their life. His life has been changed forever because of Binx, she lit the kindling for his happiness. For the happiness he experienced were mere sparks but this moment caused a fire.

I love them and their relationship means so much to me. Till next time thats all. :))
