A movie review or something idk
Watched Astérix & Obélix et le Royaume Milieu (or Asterix & Obelix and the Middle Kingdom in English) with my family a few nights ago, with original French audio and subtitles. Even though my sister and I didn't want to watch it at first, as we've only ever seen the animated movies, we were pleasantly surprised.
It was ridiculously funny, and even though most of the French jokes may have fell flat with dubbing, some of them still shone through in any language, like when Obélix ran so fast the cart went over a lake, or the montage where the boat kept hitting the sides of the Red Sea.
And even though most of the movie just looked like cosplayers or LARP-ers with too much budget, they still stuck true to the comic's roots, and kept some of the hilarious cartoon/comic physics.

В мене давно лежав цей арт, я почала малювати його, коли ми з подругою вирішили передивитись всі мультфільми про Астерікса і Абелікса, які знайдемо. В мене з ним пов'язані приємні спогади і ностальгія по часам коли ми жили разом. Я рада, що вирішила закінчити його.
