genre: fluff pairing: Beth Greene x m!reader summary: Reader gets sick during the prison era and Beth visits them in their cell. warnings: sickness?

Hershel walks out of the cell Y/N was staying, Hershel had just finished giving Y/N a remedy he made out of berries.

Y/N laid still in bed with a wet rag over his forehead. His cheeks flushed from the fever and his half-open eyes from the tiredness. But no matter how sick he felt, he couldn’t stop but think about Beth.

He wondered if she was okay or if she had gotten sick as well. Just as he thought of how much he missed her, she walked in.

“Y/N,” she softly said, standing on the doorway. Y/N smiled at the sight of her, she smile back.

“Beth, are you okay?” He finally asked in a whisper, Beth nodded and sat on the bed besides him.

“Are you okay?” She asked, moving the rag and placing her hand on his forehead. Y/N just sighed, “I’m fine, just tired.”

Beth leans down and kisses his burning forehead. “Y’know, I couldn’t stop thinking about you.” Y/N mumbles tiredly. “I’ve really missed you. A lot.”

Beth smiles at hearing this, “Really?” She questions him raising a brow, “You’ve missed me?”

Y/N chuckles but stops as he starts to cough.

Beth gets up and grabs the cup with Hershel’s homemade remedy. She helps Y/N lift his head up and puts the cup to his lips.

“Here,” she whispers gently as Y/N begins drinking from the cup.

Once Y/N is done drinking, Beth carefully moves the cup and puts it back. “You okay?”

Y/N nods slowly, closing his eyes. Beth smiles worriedly as she runs her fingers through Y/N’s hair.

She sighs.

“Don’t worry, I’ll fine Beth. I just need to rest, that’s all,” he tries comforting Beth. “I know that. Heal quickly for me, will you.” She tells him, still stroking his hair.

“I will…” He mutters before falling deep in his sleep. Beth looks at him once again. She loves Y/N so much, she just hopes he get better soon.

She leans down to peck his lips before she too, closes her eyes, relaxing at the sound of his peaceful breathing.

A/n: i‘ve been too busy but here is one of the requests. i’m still working on the other requests, so stay tune for it. btw, first time writing an m!reader x Beth Greene, it was a bit difficult coming up with a scenario for this request, but the challenge was accepted and done! I hope you guys enjoyed it!!
