Once you have surrendered yourself to Christ, once you have been born again, and once you're gifted with the Holy Spirit, you are a Child of God and therefore you're no longer a slave to the world. You're no longer a slave to the spiritual principalities that rule this word (Ephesians 2:2, Proverbs 1:10).
As a Child of God we are called and expected to walk in step with the Holy Spirit on a "moment by moment" basis. Meaning we don't seek him once a day, once a week, once a month, only when we're in trouble and distress, but on a moment to moment basis. Seeking him every moment of everyday.
We do this because everyday we wake up we face three enemies:
The world
The flesh
The devil
This is why we seek the Spirit on a moment by moment basis. We seek his council, his wisdom, his strength. We seek him when we are inevitably confronted by one of these three enemies and they can come at any moment.
Moment by moment we should be listening to the Holy Spirit. Why? Because he is our guide. He is our gift from the Father above.
Trust me, I know how hard it can be to struggle with sin, to struggle with giving in. I understand just as much as anybody. But I promise you, it's possible to live life without sin, I've done it before, I can do it again. And I know you can too. Amen, may God bless you, always. ๐ค

You know, I think it's nice that the story of the Samaritan woman is in the Bible. Like, in those times, women were not often given very many freedoms, and not often mentioned in texts, so I enjoy it very much.
And also, I think it's very nice because Jesus is just hanging out at a well, vibing, as one does, and He offers this lady---whose people hate his people---the love of Christ. Like He is SUPPOSED to not like this lady because of her culture and her people; Jewish people in that time would literally WALK AROUND Samaria just so they didn't have to talk to the people there (That's also what the Disciples wanted to do)!
So Jesus coming to this woman out of the blue, forgiving her of any sins she had committed, and generally being kind to her in a time of sexism cultural dislike is AMAZING! Not only is He defying societal norms by going through Samaria and seeing the people there, He's also speaking with this woman because he wanted to! Because He cared!
Jesus doesn't care what your past is, where you come from, or if you've done wrong in your life. He loves YOU, regardless of what you've done in the past.

SOMETIMES the big people may lose sight of the little issues. Thatโs where YOU come in. You keep your ear close to the ground, seeing things from the peopleโs perspective instead of the birdโs eye view.
You donโt change the world overnight. You make a win with what you have. Did conquerors take the land in one swift move? No! There was extensive planning involved, many revisions, along with physical and mental preparations in place.
did Bruce Wayne become Batman overnight? No! He had YEARS of training to get where he is now! Did Superman become the symbol of hope in one go? No! He operated in the shadows, trying not to be seen as a kid and a young adult (depends on continuity). But anyways, they were always learning. Always improving. They canโt save everyone, but they get who they can. They give their best and reflect then improve.
remember the parable of the talents in Matthew 25:14-30 (see below). The three servants had various talents. Two of them did what they could with the hand dealt to them. So keep going. Motion is motion. At least youโre moving.

Superman and Superwoman vs SuperWonder
this is coming from someone who enjoys Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, (Clois) Superman and Lois while also being a SuperWonder shipper at heart
I find it a bit hypocritical that people are going crazy over Lois Lane getting superpowers when theyโre also the ones who say (cheating) Lois โgroundsโ Clark and their relationship is special by having no powers.
Theyโre going berserk over Superman and Wonder Woman getting together yet once (cheating) Lois Lane gains powers. Itโs literally just Superman and Wonder Womanโs dynamic all over again.
People always say that if Superman and Wonder Woman get together, their values are gonna change and theyโre just gonna be unstoppable tyrants on earth because of their powers.
if you canโt see Supes and Wondy past their powers and theyโre matching costumes youโre just like Lex Luthor and Steve Trevor. I mean DC themselves said that they are more than just their powers. Donโt be blinded by nostalgia. Clark was raised by HUMAN parents, loved by HUMANS and aliens, and loved HUMANS and aliens alike. To say that he needs a HUMAN in order to understand humans is a bit disrespectful to everyone else who poured into Clarkโs life (including DCโs precious batgod).
Isnโt the human thing to do is to love and be loved? To serve God and serve others Regardless of color, origin, and background?
Would that not apply to both Supes and Wondy too? They were loved by their parents, loved the ย people around them, were hurt and bullied, learned to find their place in the world, and were taught by their parents to love the people they shared this messed up rock with and to help others. And this was BEFORE they met Lois and Steve.
Also, modern steve and Lois is literally everything what Diana and Clark were back in the OG comics. Diana wants Kal, Clark, and Superman, and Clark wants Wonder Woman and Diana.
In the older comics, Clark and Diana were the butt the joke in their own comics (nothing changed now)โ-their love interests only wanted their superhero identities. Then DC gave their dynamics to Lois and Steve for whatever reason.
to sum it up, they literally made Lois into Wonder Woman. Congratulations.
why not put Lois and Steve together? ย Lois Lane, whose dad was a General, be paired up with Steve Trevor, who works for the US military and ARGUS? or Lois and Lex? They both have matching initials and both are ambitious and shove everyone down who get in front of what they want. They both are power hungry try to be top dog.
Also, (this is coming from a formerly bi person, not important in this context): i donโt mean to force anything on anyone, but we have various types of evidence for biblical events, if anyone is interested. I also found ways to combat lust, if anyone is interested. (Iโm talking archaeological evidence, miracles caught live, arguments against evolution, divine revelation, science, cosmology, fulfilled prophecy, evidence for the Bible outside of the Bible, Godโs work in peopleโs lives, etc.)

Just some dating, love, and life advice below (hear me out)
Iโm gonna tell you what I tell the others. Hear me out.
ultimately, (I donโt mean to force anything on you,) but ask God to send the one for you. Same with the right and wrong friends. Ask God to Add the right ones and remove the wrong ones. Just pray, and wait. keep God first, as Billy Graham said.
Also, I have to inform you that you CANT divorce UNLESS you get cheated on, and you CANT get remarried after divorcing someone unless your divorced spouse dies. So make it count the first time. (Matt 5:28-32, Rom 7:1-3)
Look around you. People did things their way and now people commend cheating (emotionally and physically), open relationships, and open marriages (both of which promote even more emotional cheating).
The real one that God has for you wonโt cheat on you emotionally or physically and wonโt want open relationships and open marriages.
Itโll be magicalโ-your wife/husband will only want you and no one else. He/she will only want to be with you and know you while serving God with you. How cool is that?
please. Enjoy your wife/ husband for yourself. And your wife/husband should enjoy only you. This will lead to emotional cheating if this is not followed. I mean, itโs already physical and emotional cheating.

Hi, I am wondering if anyone else could see this correlation or not.
I am currently going though the bible for the first time, since I was young.
I have got to the part of Noah's Ark. And, it feels like that is what is presently happening, just slowly.
The sea levels are rising, people are turning against people, and are consumed by consumerism.
If any Christian or bible knower understands this, is this actually happening or am I just focusing too much on what I think Bible's meaning is.

I donโt know if anyone else cares about this but can people stop pretending the bible is the โdirect word of godโ or whatever evangelicals are saying.
We have historical evidence that the Bible was created over thousands of years by hundreds of different authors and their interpretation of God, Jesus and the world. The Bible was only compiled in approximately 382 (donโt quote me on the exact year people say different years I got this from Catholic.com) which is 300 years after Jesus is thought to have lived. Some books like the Shepherd of Hermas which were widely recognised in early Christianity didnโt even make the cut. The way I see the Bible is as a collection of stories of people experiencing God and I think thatโs more beautiful and has a better message then trying to pass the Bible off as the word of God. It also explains the many many contradictions and inaccuracies in the Bible which in my opinion donโt devalue the messages and its literary value.
Also so many people donโt realise that people in the past didnโt write history the way that we do today. It was often a mixture of fact and fiction in order to teach people about life/philosophy/morals and explaining events that wouldโve been happening at the time.
Honestly I donโt even know if other people care about early Christianity as much as I do but Iโve been wanting to talk about this for ages so yeah. If anyone is interested I recommend religionforbreakfast and usefulcharts on yt cause their both actual theologians who talk about this a lot. Iโm not sure about religionforbreakfast but I know usefulcharts has a PhD in religion so they do have actual knowledge on this and arenโt just random strangers spewing misinformation.
