Just did a (I think my first) Xingqiu & Valerie focused drawing that isn’t a tiny doodle!! YIPPEEEE!!!! (this is a very bad thing for her, family problemssss-)
Maybe one day I’ll make voice claims for the Feiyun’s and Yun-Wu, when my brain can function and actually remember fitting voices…
Ngl my side-profile game has gotten kinda crazy, like holy moly the improvement???? (like honestly a couple months back, I thought drawing faces like this would be impossible for me, like it always has been - but wow)
Looking at old art I did of the Feiyuns is so crazy, like I know I was still actively building and developing their characters - but when I look at old art of Valerie, all I can think to myself is: she would NOT fucking do/say that!!! 😭😭😭

God it’s actually so fucking crazy how Chongyun & Xingqiu spend literally every living moment with each other, like actually canonically… like wtf.
Like, they’re always hanging out with one another - either with their group of friends, or mainly just with each other, they’re always by each other side when; going to events and festivals together, frequently eat meals together, they go on adventures and fight together as a fearsome duo (to the point of having stories told about them), when one of them needs help with something the first person they always go to is each other, and even when they’re in a group - they’re always more separate from the others, but closer to each other (be that either standing or sitting), etc, etc… they’re ALWAYS together..
And it doesn’t even end THERE!?
Chongyun & Xingqiu canonically take trips from Liyue Harbor to Qingce Village CONSISTENTLY, just to read books and do things together - they do it so consistent and often that the people who live there know them for it…
And that’s not even mentioning the fact it takes like at least 5 days by walking to get from Liyue Harbor to Qingce Village (realistically), AND THEN again back. Which is also not including the time they actually spend IN Qingce Village, which would probably be a couple of days to like weeks, since it takes like a week to get there and then again back. WHICH IS AGAIN, not including time spent together in Inns or something during the week from there and back, BUT ALSO where they’re staying when they’re actually in Qingce Village….
AGAIN, they do it CONSISTENTLY, and usually just to read together.
AND THEN, Xingqiu consistently, on a regular basis (to the point where it’s her FIRST thought) - stays at Chongyun’s house for up to 10 days to 2 weeks, as a result of many things, but usually because of something related to her family. SO NOT ONLY will they spend their entire day hanging out with each other doing.. EVERYTHING - they will end their day by hanging out with each other under the same roof (for who knows how many hours), AND THEN sleep under the same roof (which also simultaneously implies they’re around each other during the early morning before they go out..) FOR 2 FULL FUCKING WEEKS.
So not only do they spend every day with each other, but depending on where one of them or the both of them are staying/doing - they spend even MORE of their time with each other (and they’ve been like/doing this for YEARS.)
Every living and breathing moment is spent being by each other side… and that makes me fucking insane LIKE WTFFFF-
The reason why we never see Chongyun & Xingqiu 99.99% of the time, is because they’re too busy being gay and in love to participate in anything.
They’re too busy spending all of their time with one another, alone together.
Oh ‘Chongyun sneaking up to Xingqiu’s bedroom window in the dead of night, to pay her a visit - to either just say hi and tell her something, or to visit Xingqiu because he’s not allowed in, etc. but he loves her so much and wants to see her (Xingqiu wants to see and be with Chongyun too)’ oh how I love you sooooo…..

Every time I manage to draw a pretty Xingqiu after not being able to draw even past the dreadful circle, it never fails to not make me feel happy - being able to see her again, I love my Xingqiu <3
My bestie is play Minecraft on Discord stream rn and my brain is still going in overdrive thinking about Chongqiu’s gayness, I might be a bit insane-
I COMPLETELY FORGOT I HC’ED THAT FOR ONE OF CHONGQIU’S PETNAMES, INSTEAD OF SAYING JUST “HONEY” LIKE XINGQIU DOES TOWARDS CHONGYUN, HE INSTEAD CALLS HER “HONEYBUN”?!?!???!???
My mind is racing rn… Chongqiu are on my mind and making me insane. Thinking about their love; how much they love each other, how they love each other, the way they make each other feel in every sense of the word, the way they think about each other - sporadic thoughts, their minds are fill with one another…. just.. so, SO much love.. there’s so much love between them….

The fact I’m going to be 20 by the time season 8 of MHA starts airing…… when I originally got into the show when I was like 13…….. omgggg-

Chongyun I’m so sorry, I love you and I DO have ideas for you, but the second I include info of Xingqiu’s family and how it affects her - the balance between descriptions gets drastic-
When you get a banger of an idea, and you’re writing it down and it’s all going well, and then you get to a certain point where you’re having trouble putting them into words - you still have a lot of the concept to write down, but it can’t get out of your brain and into words…

I found some images of some of the official art for Chongyun & Xingqiu, but they’re all in pieces because they were specifically the ones that would move, and I have spent all day putting them together, and rn I’m working on the last one - and I’m so happy because now I have some more PNG’s of Chongqiu :3
Okay but like can I just say I feel so big brained rn, because when I made the first draft of Xingqiu’s family tree two years ago, and was doing Bingwen’s side of the family, and when I was making the notable members; Bingwen’s father specifically had one notable parent (their gender was unspecified at the time) - but I made it a point that there was a specific line; Xingqiu had a great grandparent from her grandfathers side…
I plan this out TWO YEARS before we were told about Xingqiu’s great grandfather of her grandfather, on her father’s side.. LIKE WHAT?????????
