(Kirby series fanart comic of Daroach snarkily teasing Dark Meta Knight, only for the latter to turn around, grab him, and kiss him without hesitation, leaving the rat dazed and flustered instead. Started some time in summer 2023, finished on 10/22/23, updated 10/25/23. Transcript under the cut.)

Panel 1

*Daroach leans smugly towards DMK, who stands with his back to the rat, his fists shaking slightly at his side*

Daroach: *confidently* You wanna kiss me so bad it makes you look like an idiot!

Panel 2

*DMK turns sharply and grabs a startled Daroach by his cape with one hand, removing his mask with the other*

Panel 3

*DMK yanks Daroach forward into a firm kiss, nearly knocking the rat off balance; DMK's wings unfurl behind him, and a fierce blush spreads over both of their faces*

Panel 4

*DMK then shoves Daroach away, who reels back on one foot with hearts in his eyes, grinning like a fool*

DMK: *facing away, his wings curled around himself, quickly putting his mask back on* Hmph. Idiot.

I would have redrawn these, but they've been sitting around in my photos forever.

I wanted to correct Daroach's face slantedness using the computer, and maybe draw morpho's helmet better because it's hell to draw but I'm very proud of these otherwise!

also it took forever to get this post done, my tablet does not handle tumblr well.

SO! I know my last post was also about a post that @jojo-schmo made. BUT! This post almost made me drop my last one, cause Adeleine is my favorite Kirby character.

I absolutely love the headcanon that the Ancients are sort of a collection of different races/species with humans being a part of them. I had a similar idea prior to that post, but it feels awesome to know that someone else feels similarly!

This post is basically just a headcanon that Hyness would randomly comment that "OH yeah! Humans are Ancients." But then just never elaborate and let everyone be confused.

Maybe he gives Adeleine a nickname like 'Adure' or something. (In reference to the FL languages word for 'Canvas', which is 'Adureshia') and no one would understand until after the Forgotten Land stuff happens.

It would make sense that Adeleine is the only human on Popstar if humans are Ancients since Hyness is also an Ancient, and he's the only one of his kind on Popstar as well.

Her post also lowkey gave me an idea for how Adeleine could end up on Popstar, and I might actually act on it later on. Yeah, I know, Adeleine is my favorite character, but I didn't already have a headcanon on her past. IT'S JUST SO HARD, OKAY????
