Lance would probably also have some, but significantly less dramatic just because of personal preference. Like maybe just some eyeliner, something a little more obscure.

I think the ipponguma would also be a better fit personality-wise, but realistically he'd probably reference the nihonguma style just as part of the more "respectable" image he has to portray as champion.

pokemon Champion Lance pokemon hgss ‼️personal canon zone‼️ gym leader clair do i tag characters for this? why not i guess idk why these two have had me in a chokehold recently but i'm not complaining i saw the red/blue makeup meanings and it hit me in the chest like a shotgun blast the *parallels*............ aghhhhahahdhgk also there's def something to be said about clair embracing cultural tradition openly and proudly while lance does so in a way that's a much more subtle connection to his heritage but that's characterization stuff i haven't gotten to yet sooooo >_>
