A chalk drawing of a stained glass design consisting of an arched center panel and 9 smaller panels around the sides with the top center panel being the full width of the piece.
The center contains the Mandalorian, Din Djarin, holding Grogu in a bag at his side in front of the glass spikes of the surface of Mandalore. Din is stoic but standing in a relaxed stance and Grogu is grinning and waving at the viewer.
The top center panel is various shades of blue styled like waves or ribbons to show Din's N-1 starfighter traveling through hyperspace. There is an oval on each side covering part of the panel. On the left side is an oval containing the mudhorn clan of two symbol, and on the right is an oval containing the mythosaur symbol of the Mandalorians.
The rest of the side panels depict stylized skylines of the various locations that the Mandalorian travels to over the series. From left to right: panel 1 Kuiil's home on Arvala-7, panel 2 the lava fields of Navararro, 3 an overhead shot of the Sorgan farm town, 4 the desert of Tatooine with two suns in the sky, 5 the violent ocean surface of Trask, 6 an ice canyon on the surface of Maldo Kreis, 7 the scorched remains of a forest on Corvus, and lastly panel 8 on the top right depicting the rock structure at the summit of Tython.
The same chalk image as before shot at a slightly different angle and now mostly in shadow.
A digital drawing of the same design as before. This drawing was printed off and then used as reference for the chalk art. All of the major elements are the same but there are many small differences in color tones.

Buir bal ad'ika, Aliit ori'shya tal'din- Father and child (little one), Family is more than blood.

For chalk art last year my team and I did stained glass styled peice based on The Mandalorian. @chronicallyawkwardandshameless tagging you both because you helped make this and I need you to spell check the title.

Progress shots below the cut

A rough pencil sketch of the main design. The center panel and the ovals with symbols are present, the outer panels are absent.
A progress shot of the digital design. The overall panel locations are sketched out but empty. The rough drawing of Grogu and the Mandalorian are in the center with a screenshot of the Tatooine sky behind them.
A much more complete version of the digital piece. the center is complete, now with the correct backdrop, the outer panels all have screenshots from the show filling in the spots. the top and bottom left panels have been converted to a stained glass style, and the bottom right panel has sketch lines over the screenshot. There are transparent overlays showing possible crop lines.
progress day one of the chalk art. the center panel is half finished with the characters blocked out and the background sketched. the top panel as well as panels 1, and 6-8 are all mostly complete. all of the panels are marked out in tape.
Day 2 progress, the center panel is finished and much more polished and vibrant. the top panel as well as panels 1, 7, and 8 are polished and vibrant as well. panels 2 and 6 are mostly sketched in.
Day 3 progress shot. Only the left half of the image can be seen. There is a person leaning over from the bottom and working on panel 3, as well as a person just out of frame working on panel 1 from the top side. Both people are wearing shorts with visible chalk smudges on their arms, legs, and clothing.
The center panel looks much the same, with the top panel and panel 1 having been cleaned up with darker lead lines added. Panel 2 is blocked out in colors but lacking the black lead lining of stained glass art. Panel 3 is sketched out and half filled with various shades of green. Panel 4 is covered in the chalk the bottom artist is using to work.
Day 3 progress shot showing the right half of the peice. The images were taken moments apart and share many elements. There is lots of chalk and tools that can be seen set up around the sides of the art. Panels 7 and 8 are complete with vivid colors and dark black lead lines. Panel 6 is blocked in with faint black lines, but doesn't have the same level of polish as the others. Panel 5 is blocked in with shades of blue and green and faint lines of black. The black lines are rough and textured showing that this panel is being worked on.
A completed shot of the art in full sun. It is similar to the very first picture of this post, but is shot from farther back so most of the title written on the brick below the piece can be seen. The smudged signatures of the artists can also faintly be seen.
A shadowed shot of the piece from before, it is taken the day after the chalk art competition and most of the art has been smudged or washed away by rain. The large black elements are still present and the concrete looks dark and damp.
A picture taken an hour or so after the previous. the concrete is dry but the piece is very smudged and washed away, there is a visible distortion where a puddle of water formed and collected all the pigment.
