After the death of his last two teammates you were the only one left alive. He had been recruited into the Anbu forces while you were promoted into being a Jounin. The killing and assassination was getting over his head. He sees people losing their lives in a quick second by a fatal mistake or accident. He was struck with anxiety over your well-being. Weāre you safe? Who were you with? Was your new team any good? Weāre they able to protect you? So many questions riddled his mind over your health.
Have you forgotten him? Left him behind? Perhaps that was for the best. He was bad luck. That much he knew and so did everyone. He was called the āFriend Killerā for a reason. Everyone around him died and it would only be a matter of time before you died by his hands too. So he did what he thought was best, he ignored you at every chance he got and shut himself in. You had to understand, everything was for the betterment of your health and future sake.
But there comes times when he canāt help but indulge in his urges. These are the times where heās thankful for once joining the anbu corps. He gained many new skills in the stealth department, it come handy in assassination missions and tailing people. Itās a skill he uses whenever he has the off chance to see you. He follows you whenever he can, taking in a few peeks here and there and if he ever feels strikingly bold heāll sneak in through your window and stay diligent for you. However, there comes times when he canāt hold back his primal urges. Heās a broken man inside so for the love of god please donāt push him away when he slips into bed with you.
You wonāt be allowed to go anywhere without him. The thought of you being away from him with unknown people sends him into a frenzy. Donāt be alarmed when he slams his door open and races across the streets with a wild look in his face. He looks feral as he stomps around ignoring the whispers trailing behind him or the small questions his comrades try and give him. The moment he finds you he wonāt care who your talking to, heāll drag you back to his home making sure to keep you locked up with only him and you. Heāll demand questions asking why you would leave without permission especially without him.
After that fiasco heāll come in tune with his feelings and desperate need of human contact but heāll still keep you at arms length. Heāll hover over you making sure his presence is known. Everyoneās heard rumors about him and most know how he looks like so it isnāt a surprise when people start steering away from you whenever the both of you are walking together. Sure there comes whispers and your new teammates tend to flinch and cower under Kakashi gaze buts itās not like you mind do you? After all heās the last living person on Team 7. You should only care about him and thatās final.

As years go by and friendship progresses, the demise of his father suicide happened. It had struck grief and shame in his core, his own father brought shame into their home, forsaken the name of the Hatakes. Many people blamed his father for the start of the upcoming third shinobi war. It was during those years where his personality had taken a huge one eighty degree counter clockwise. He had prioritied missions over comrades, listing off every rule he learned in the rulebook.
He had drifted off from your friendship resulting in you befriending others to fill that empty spot. You were intoxicating to be around with, an aura that drew people in. Which is exactly what drew Ćbito Uchiha into your world. Kakashi was furious and enraged when he found out. How could someone like you hang out with an untalented dead weight brat like him? Who has a silly dream of becoming hokage? Kakashi would be far much suited for that title even if he didnāt want it.
At first Kakashi would only watch from afar. Hesitant to talk to you again, after what his father has done would you willingly be his friend again? But at last Kakashi came back into your life, little by little. Crawling back quietly without a hint of suspicion. Heās defensive when it comes to you, quick to come to your aid and slip in jabs whenever Ćbito comes in the picture. He possessive of you, always by your side; ready to drive those close to you away. And yet Ćbito stayed no matter how hard Kakashi tried to get rid of him.
Yet with his early graduation he couldnāt be by your side as much as he wanted to. Being the apprentice of a remarkable shinobi he couldnāt stay by you like he wanted too. Instead heāll follow you home once his training was done or when he was given a break for his hard work. Scenting and rubbing his pheromones in every creak of your apartment. It was his duty as your future mate to ward off any suitors who have funny ideas to court you. Small talk here and there but at last it wasnāt enough to fulfill him. So imagine his surprise when you end up being part of his team, he was ecstatic to be your side. He wouldnāt have to worry about you being in the front lines all alone. Noā youāll have him. But his dream was shattered, there stood Ć³bito by your side laughing and giggling like he was the love of your life.
It had enraged him, every little perk of yours was always met with blushing cheeks and twinkling eyes coming from Ćbito. Not only that but it seemed as if you were a second choice to Ć³bitoā anyone could see the love struck look Ć³bito would give to Rin. Itās like he didnāt know who to choose. Noā If it weāre up to him youāll be the only female in his life. Not some second choice. But he supposes itās for the best. For once in his life he couldnāt help but want to thank Rin for existing. He would gladly take you away from Ćbito while he would be distracted by Rin. The thought of you finally being his had him giddy by the end of the day.
But his happiness didnāt last much longer. Much came the faithful mission of destroying the Kanani Bridge resulting in the death of his teammate Ćbito. He was heartbroken seeing you leave with Ćbito to save Rin. But he couldnāt leave you with someone who couldnāt even protect himself. So he ventured off with you and Ćbito. It was the day he gained a new eye and a new nindo. He vowed to protect you and Rin for the sake of upholding Ćbitos wish and his own feelings. Yet, he wasnāt feeling much sorrow when Ćbito died. Somewhere deep down he was glad Ćbito died, he was finally removed from the picture and heāll have you all to himself. Sure it had made him feel horrible inside but it was all bearable whenever he would look at you.

Befriending Kakashi as a child would be quite peculiar. Heās a prodigy for a reason, he wonāt be whining like a child, playing silly games with others, he wonāt fantasize. Noā heās the son of the white fang. An elite shinobi who is feared across all nations. He will shoulder his fathers legacy with pride. But Sakumo remains as a worried father, he knows he isnāt around much and Kakashi doesnāt have any company to hang out with. Heāll bring him to the park to get him familiarized with the other kids
Thatās where you come in, quiet and composed yet holding that naive childish joy in your heart. It had drawn Kakashi in like a moth to a flame. He was quick to pique an interest in you, suggesting to play ninja like most children his age played. At the end of the day he couldnāt help but talk about you to his father, wishing to meet you again and hold you dear just as much as his father does to his comrades.
As his father goes off to finish missions the hokage had entrusted in him, Kakashi is alongside you playing childish games. The empty feeling in his chest when his father disappears for crucial missions gets filled by you. Kid Kakashi is someone whoās needy and desperate for attention, wanting to be the absolute best he could ever be and impress you. Heāll show off to you, showing his amazing skills his father taught him, preening about being a future Shinobi
He gets whiny when your both alone, pawing and preening at you. Wanting your full attention to be solely on him, heās the son of a famous and honorable shinobi who wouldnāt want to be with him? Itās an honor isnāt it? Heās puffing out his chest in pride whenever you praise him, just a simple pat on his head or even a hug has him on the tip of his toes. Begging for another ounce of your affection, just a simple touch thatās all he asks.
One time you had the audacity to befriend others, someone that took your time and attention from him. It had sent him reeling off the rails, the anger and despair that overtook him had caused him to lash out at others. He was bitter, why would you search for others when you have him? The time came where you presented your friends to him. Kakashi was quick to shut them down, showing off his skills with a snobbish attitude. He would talk down about them with you, suggesting how theyāre not a good influence, to not bother to make other friends when you already have him. Isnāt he enough for you? What more could you possibly want?
He snarled whenever one of them got closer to you, growling in distaste as their scent mixed with yours. As a young pup himself, Kakashi was taught how to communicate and respect other ninken. And as someone whose clan bonds with ninken some dog traits will tend to rub on him. Such as scenting, most mates tend to rub their scent on each other as a claim of ownership. Thatās exactly what Kakashi does, even the faintest scent of anyone that isnāt him has him huffing and prowling for the intruder. Heās quick to cage you in his arms. Claiming he just needs a bit of your affection right now, and you his naive little mate wordlessly believing him without knowing the truth of his actions.
