I love it when a fandom argues over two popular ships for a person and then there's the small group of people who ship the love interests together without that character. And it always turns out to be such a fire ship too
how do we feel about moonwaterlily,,,, i dont usually ship remus and lily but theyve got a bit of a kick in this i must admit,,,,,,,
I really wish i was good at writing, like, i have so many ideas and au’s in my head but im terrible at writing or describing things the way others can. I cant get how people are able to write and describe these emotions and feelings or characters so beautifully as they do and i just wish i was able to write like that and get my ideas out.

Jegulily au where there are soul mate marks and lily has a sun and a star on her wrists and james has a flower and a star on his like hip area and they get together and they both are crushing hard on sirius’ little sister but are sad because she doesn’t match their last mark. Then regulus runs away from home and comes out as trans and when they hear his name they both freak out and corner him. Regulus shows they the sun and flower mark he has on his shoulders then they all smoochie kiss and live happily ever after.

Jegulily, but Jily is already in a relationship. Lily is more than happy to let James and Regulus date, having faith in her boyfriend's love for her, but between James "I love you so much I feel guilty for so much as looking at him" Potter and Regulus "I refuse to be the reason why anyone cheats on their partner" Black, she has her work cut out for her.
Low and behold, after she drags them both by their ears and tells them to confess their feelings towards one another, she then realizes that fuck, she likes Regulus, which kick-starts another slow burn for our disaster trio. What's worse is that Marlene makes fun of her because she's technically already in a relationship with Regulus.
Lily: Seriously, Regulus. How many people would you have killed if we asked you to?
Regulus: That's not important.
James, frantic: I disagree!!!

What annoys me the most about this fandom is that people are always arguing about the most ridiculous things.
Why is it that we as a fandom seem to feel the need to attack each other for what we like and what we dislike.
Why does one character or ship have to be better than others?
If you don't ship something just keep scrolling. It takes more effort to open the comment section and leave a hate comment than to just find content that you do like. it's not that hard.
I think some people forget that we don't all have to agree. It's okay to ship a rare pairing that other people might find odd and it's okay to make a seemingly 'bad' character more three dimensional.
As long as its not harmful content that someone is making or consuming, why should it matter to you.
At the end of the day, it's all made up so who gives a damn.
I can like Regulus as a character without hating on lily because guess what, there is no reason to be constantly pitting them against each other. They are FICTIONAL.
Jegulus is not better than Jily or the other way around, they're just different.
I love Lily and the other female characters but it is possible for someone to dislike one of them and not for misogynistic reasons. Not everything is an attack on women.
Sometimes I like reading fics where certain characters I like are villanised because it seems funny, including Lily. That's not misogynistic. Especially not if I read ones where James or barty or sirius are the bad guy sometimes.
It's okay to like snape. I don't and you might not but that doesn't give you a right to attack the people who do.
What Im saying is, leave people alone and stop attacking them for having different opinions. If you're going to criticise a ship or character at least have the decency to do it in a place where the people who like said character or ship don't have to see it.
It really isn't that hard.
This fandom is supposed to be a free space to enjoy content you enjoy but sometimes doesn't feel like it because of the people who behave like their opinion should be fact and those who disagree can be harassed and bullied until they leave.
Just try to remember that just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's wrong.

Regulily where Lily keeps stealing Regulus' Slytherin clothes and jumpers, but everyone knows that Regulus "would never date a muggle born" so the circulating rumor is that she's dating Evan Rosier and he just goes with it because he is a pal and thinks it's funny that their assigned ship name is just "Evan"

and yes i think regulus would be the patrick one bc modern fanfics don’t incorporate the REAL regulus of 2021, like my regulus was ruthless strong and straight up evil now that he’s james’ love interest though they’ve made him into a weak soft baby that crumbles under golden retriever james’ lovey dovey eyes
