God damn…. this is probably only the second comic within the ship I've seen where the Lamb actually feels devoted to Narinder, even after stealing his crown, his power, and his dream. Despite destroying his dream, they're trying to make Narinder happy instead of belittling him for jokes.

Ya know, my favorite thing about this comic is the moral ambiguity of Narinder's portrayal. Having played the game and seen how the Fandom interprets Narinder, I'm actually annoyed with the general consensus that in order to make fan's self-insert Lamb feel like this justified victim, Narinder is a vow-breaker who intentionally makes false-promises, lies and harms their Lamb for personal gain. 😤
Here, I can really see how Narinder could be seen as a being of worship once-upon-a-time, whether or not the story of his Sibling Conflict told here is truth, fabrication or somewhere in between. He's clearly someone who's felt hurt, longs to pursue his goals and is seeking some personal sense of purpose beyond what Fate has decided for him. Here, I can feel while his intentions aren't entirely pure, they're not this comical level of evil seen by the majority of the Fandom and its very much refreshing to say the least. 😌
This is one of the few cotl comic lores I'm very much invested in and would like to see more of. The fundamental originality of showing both sides aren't evil, but the signs of corruption are just buried below the surface is something I really enjoy. 🎉🎉🎉

sorry it took that long i've been a little bit busy
lil sketches of the redesign I'm giving to my shitten!
I felt the first one was rushed and too unoriginal, at least for my standards.
I decided to change their hair/wool so now it's curly instead of the generic looking hair I gave them before. I'm still unsure about the shape of the horns, the colors won't be like in the sketch but I want to try some ideas with the colors black and red, or maybe gold, I gotta see.
I'm starting to decide a bit about their personalities and dynamics with Nari and Lamb, but to deepen it, I have to figure out for good how I want to characterize them as well. for now I just have a general idea.
And lastly, I think I have chosen a name for them as well, Viduus! I did some research and found this minor Roman god called Viduus. His job was to separate the soul from the body after their death, and I thought it was fitting as the name of the child of death.

In this chapter we finally get to go back home and see that someone has done some spring cleaning I guess you can call it, and it has led to some unfortunate consequences. Heyyyyyy, hello! So another chapter, one that is around 4600ish words because I couldn’t bring myself to cut it into pieces... again. I swear one day I will learn how to cut these into reasonable chunks for the sake of all of us. Anyway I hope you all enjoy this chapter, it is full of angst and some actual honest to hell comfort, HURRAY we are finally at the comfort!
Alright first things first, this is a bloody long chapter. I know I have been saying that a lot recently but dear hell this one is long. So watch out for that.
Seconds thing second, Watch out for the cute/Eldritch horrorish parts cause there are some moments that are... interesting to say the least. Other than those two, I have not much else to add. I hope you all enjoy reading this chapter cause I will need to take a day off to visit the gramps sooooo the next chapter may take some more time.
