Thought I’ll post some WIP stuff since, well, I haven’t actually posted in like a week or somethin’… So here!

Blood moon twins because yes, I guess. I started this one like a month ago, but I’m really getting to it now, lol. (TSaMS) ⬆️

I started this one a while ago too. Actually the around the same time I posted that angst piece about Ruin after the episode about his past happened. Still wanna beat Nexus for that one, no touchie the cute British boy! Lol. (TSaMS) ⬆️

This is meant to be a little wallpaper for the flip phone 5. I have that specific phone so I’m basically drawing this mostly for myself, and I’m gonna post for anyone else who wants to use it for their phone, or just snatch it because they like it in general. (Not TSaMS, just *a* Sun) ⬆️

I love Sun X Moon, this is a piece dedicated to that. Look at them be wholesome and cute! Also, yes, I adore The Sun and Moon Show and I would say I’m a big fan, but Sun X Moon. So just everyone is aware, when I make this ship it is NOT Sun and Moon Show related, and I will make that bluntly clear. They are *brothers* in the show, so that would be gross. (Obviously NOT TSaMS) ⬆️

This is a God AU of mine based, mostly, on EPIC : The Musical. In this AU, Sun and Moon are not brothers, but instead romantic partners. Also, I was kinda of inspired by the song "The Moon Will Sing" by The Crane Wives for a lot of their dynamic. If you know that song, then you should be able to tell that these two are wholesome little husbands who absolutely adore each other. I definitely want to actually make stuff for this AU when I have fleshed out the story more. (My God AU) ⬆️

‘Anyway, that’s all I have for now. Well, with the stuff I want to certainly work on. I have so many more WIP pieces, it’s not funny. This is what happens when you think of too many ideas and don’t have enough time to do them all, nor motivation! Oof. Well it’s 12:48 for me. Hi everyone! More angst today! This time featuring-

D! Sun and his Moon! I started really adoring D! Sun and I wanted to draw something evil. Rehehe!

I honestly could have finished this a lot sooner, but my motivation died there for a minute, and then I started drawing a million other things. Oof. And I’ll suppose I’ll mention this here. I’ll be doing an art stream tomorrow at some point. I’ll make a post about it before I start it like I did for the two stream last weekend.

Also, as I’m writing this I’m fighting off a fly, and I think it’s winning, help-

So, I finished the little fan art I made for the episode that D! Sun confronts Sun in. I said pretty much all I wanted to say in a previous post, but I do want to reiterate that if you have theories about why D! Sun is taking such a particular interest in Sun (I mean- Dude *said* he was doing *all* of this for Sun) please share! I’m trying to think of ideas myself, but I feel like they either wouldn’t make much sense or a direction that they probably wouldn’t go in for the story. So I’m a little stumped ;w;

My favorite "good" and "evil" duo with always be Eclipse and Sun, though D! Sun and Sun as duo is very much growing on me. Well, anyways, I’ll shut my yapper for now. Enjoy the art if ya will!

So, I recently re-watched the episode of Sun and Moon first meeting with each other and was inspired to make this angsty sketch! (WIP)

I think I did Sun's facial expression and posing really well.

And while we're talking about Sun, I am adoring all Sun angst we've been getting lately. Love character development. I'm actually working on some pieces about D! Sun and Sun and Nexus and Sun.

It's honestly crazy that Sun hasn't fully snapped himself with all the trauma he's gone through! And I'm really curious what D! Sun has in plan for Sun. It's hard to tell if D! Sun really just plans to use Sun in some way or wants Sun to join him for some reason. Who knows! Guess we'll wait to see, but if any of you have any theories, please share! And bro, Nexus really thought he was about to snatch Sun with no problem. Like, no! Sun, at this point, is the one no one person gets to just touch. Nexus should have used a little more critical thinking than that.

thoughts of the Halloween episode of The Sun and Moon show

sorry its long (not really)

I liked Nexus in the begin when he was still New Moon. I think it helped the family more than having Old Moon stick around, not being able to sit with his thoughts and reflect on the way he treated everyone he deems below him mainly Sun. While it also allowed him to see the consequences and aftermath of his death and how it directly affected sun more than everyone else. While I think the addition of Solar indirectly caused Nexus' downward spiral, in the end I'm glad he joined the family. after Solar's death it was weird that he spiraled that fast. Now that I rewatch it he was spiraling far before that and it was just the last straw. Nexus's whole purpose was to be better, kinder, and more loving than those who came before him, I think after Ruin was exposed is when he abandons that purpose of being kinder to be "Smarter and Better" than Old Moon. I think that's when 'Dark" Sun started influencing him even if it was just a thought ever now and again, slowly chipping away at the core of his mind. I believe Sun was able to recognize that something was happening just not knowing what. That's why Sun started to pull away from Nexus and everyone else, cause he knew he was gonna get hurt, even if it hurt everyone else as well. While its a bold claim from nexus of that he was treated as tool, he was right in the fact that Sun was not the best brother to him. Though Sun never claimed to be, he was well aware that 1) Old Moon was "never" coming back and therefore could not hurt him, and 2) that Nexus was not Old Moon nor was he acting like him, However you have to realize that Nexus was walking around with his dead twin's face, the face that hurt him everyday for years. the face that he grieves for when he's was alone and no one can hear him mourn the loss of the one person who was with him for everyday of his life. Sun lost the other half of him when Old Moon died, and then Lunar dying soon after. he didn't get a chance to really grieve and, yet he still took care of Nexus and Earth. Nexus had some points, But not a good enough reason to go that level of insane. In the End he got a truly sad death which was to die by the hand of the one that still after everything did truly loved and cared for him.

My thoughts on "Dark" Sun

For "Dark" Sun to be the one to force Sun to choose between Nexus and Moon is very cathartic for the character of Sundrop in my option. Yes it was a little fucked up, it was necessary tho. It was what Sun needed for him to finally start making decisions and to grow more of a back bone. I do not doubt the claim that "Dark" Sun is every Sun because it makes senses in a way. We the viewers have never seen the universe where Sun doesn't exist ,because I don't believe there is one we would have seen or heard about it by now. However there are some special cases like Lord Eclipse who had the chance to get rid of his Sun but didn't or couldn't, or where puppet is from which I believe is the Base dimension for the T.S.B.S universe. Which leads me to believe that Sun and the other Suns are what their dimensions are based around or on. The fact that "Dark" Sun stopped time and pulled Sun to talk proves this more. There are more signs as well, like when "Dark" Sun talks to Sun and turns on the glow function so we can see a difference in who's who, along with that there is a one of Ruin doing it to, when he said he could feel the camera looking at him and saying hello while staring at it. It makes more sense why "Dark" Sun seems to know everything that happens to sun and his family, and why he says certain generalized statements about what Suns do and do not like. This also make sense why Sun can interacted with all or most energy sources like star power and wither shards with out many consequences, its because He is the begin, middle and end to the universe. That's also why he hasn't died in someway yet, because if he dies the universe go's with him His body will most like be the form of the wither storm for that universe or at least starts from his body. That may also be why he goes in to a trance like state when he sees "Dark" Sun's Dragon its the universe's coding deep in him that starting to from the wither storm. I do think if Sun was to die his soul(?) would go where the souls go and his body start the process of the wither storm. but if Sun didn't die, he would go in that trance like state and his body would start the process anyways, but he wouldn't be able to do anything. However I don't believe we the viewers have seen the last of "Dark" Sun, but I think Sun and them won't see "Dark" Sun again hopeful. I think Sun will Most likely look for someone outside of the family for therapy maybe someone atlas knows or would recommend cause i don't see Sun begin ok with talking to earth about it after all of this happening

Ok so everyone knows today’s Halloween special was fucking nuts, so I wanna share my thoughts on it:

!!!SPOILERS AHEAD!!! SCROLL PAST THIS AND GO WATCH THE S.A.M.S 2024 HALLOWEEN SPECIAL FIRST IF YOU HAVENT BECAUSE IT IS FUCKING PEAK!!!

Ok to start us off, I’d just like to say that the acting from Davis In this episode is amazing. I could genuinely feel the pain in sun’s voice as he begged for dark sun not to make him chose between nexus and moon, so kudos to Davis! You nocked it out of the park with the acting in this as always!

And on that topic, I’d just like to say that the moment dark sun asked sun if he now truly hates nexus doges the question is genuinely heartbreaking. Because there’s two ways to interpret it: one, that he does genuinely hate nexus and feels guilty for genuinely hating someone who he once called brother. or two, deep down he really does still care if even a little bit for nexus, which makes the fact that he has to kill nexus hit even harder.

Now I’d like to talk about the very interesting parallels between dark sun and nexus in this episode:

Nexus until the very end tried to escape is identity as a “moon”, but in the process went down the exact same path many other moons have gone down in his own way, by torturing his loved ones, especially his sun, just like many moons have before.

Dark sun on the other hand has basically done everything he could to successfully make himself everything BUT a sun, but still clings onto his identity as a “sun”.

To quote him exactly: “I’m sun. I’m every sun that you’ve ever met, that you ever will meet, that you’ve never met and will never meet. I’m you, I’m me, I’m sun.”. Now, while yes, he is technically correct, he still has the body and origins of most, if not all suns. But the moment he killed his moon and combined his own intelligence with his moon’s, that universe’s sun died. Both literally and metaphorically. He combined his code with his moon’s so therefore he is now technically an eclipse-, but also the moment he let his intrusive thoughts and desires win, the real sun died and nothing but an empty husk wearing his face remained.

To quote eclipse from the very first season of the show, sun’s a good person, but he wants to do so many horrible things. Key-word being “want”.

Despite everything, despite all of his horrible thoughts, he never acts on them. Nor any other sun rather than dark sun. We all have intrusive thoughts and feelings that can make us feel like disgusting human beings, but we almost never act on them. The sun could burn all of us up in an instant, yet it remains millions of miles away and gives us nothing but light and warmth. THATS what makes our sun something more than just a close by star. THATS what “being a sun” means in this story. Therefore because dark sun has given up caring for those who surround him, because he finally burned so bright and hot he let all around him fall to ashes, he can never truly consider himself anything but an average star again.
