In the humid fall, when the breeze of autumn blows over the summer season, is when she came to this planet. Sometimes at night you’ll wander through the plains, and you will see a light. The light is so colorful. You think it’s just some teenagers having a party, but there is not a soul in sight… at least not one from this world. There’s these colorful orbs that float and glow. In the center of this bizarre attraction, you see a small figure sitting in the tall grass giggling with delight. By the sound of the tiny voice, you guess it’s a girl. But she was no ordinary girl… she didn’t come from an ordinary planet either. You disregard the strange impossible scene in front of you and call out to the girl- thinking she might be in trouble- but you weren’t prepared for it. She hears you and turns around. In the dim light that the strange orbs around you provide, you can see her skin texture; it looks rough yet soft at the same time, it had a soft blue tint to it. Her eyes were entirely pupil, no iris, no sclera, just pitch black pupil. Whatever she was… she wasn’t human, no matter how humanoid she may look. She didn’t have a nose, there was a smooth surface that peaked out just a bit, but there were no nostrils. She stared at you for a second, before her face broke into a contagious smile- despite that it’s slightly terrifying with the small shark-like teeth in her mouth- and waved excitedly at you. She crisscrossed her legs and patted the grass next to her, inviting you to join her. You think of yourself as crazy, yet you find yourself sitting next to the little alien child seconds later. She rips some grass from the earth and starts munching on it, she holds some strands out towards you. You politely declined.

If you are against animal cruelty (which any decent human is) than you should be a vegan. The means that the human race uses to kill farm animals for food is inhumane. Look at any picture of a slaughterhouse, you’ll understand.
Unironically, vegans need to be advocating for more and better sheep, llama, and alpaca farms. Wool is one of the best fabrics we have in terms of versatility, longevity and most importantly, insulation. Even wet, it retains 80% of it’s insulation potential.

Today's recipe is Tofu Stir-fry! (Vegan) Serves 4 peopleIngredients: 1 tablespoon peanut or vegetable oil 2 bell peppers 4 scallions or other oniony vegetable 10 ounces peas (frozen) 2 cups cubed firm tofu 3 cups cooked rice 1/3 cup Stir-fry sauce 2 tablespoons soy sauceDirections:1. Slice the scallions diagonally then thinly slice the peppers.2. Heat the peanut oil in a wak or wide pan over high heat. add the scallions and peppers and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes. Add rice and peas and cook, stirring for 4 to 5 minutes, or until the rice is heated through.3. Meanwhile, cube the tofu4. Add the tofu, stir fry sauce and soy sauce to the wok or pan and cook, tossing gently, for about 1 minute, or until heated through.Remove from heat.Serve:Ladle the rice into bowls and serve at once.
