I've been staring at Dabi for a good 2 hours... Is what little skin he has stolen from someone else?
It's stapled onto his burned body so i assume that new skin isn't his....

(he's absolutely a Todoroki, maybe that's why his family doesn't recognize him? Cuz he's literally wearing someone else's face.)
The parallels between Quackity, Dream, and Sam is really amazing. Their characters are all amazing different takes on what villains are and really show how differently people can perceive themselves.
Dream knows he's a bad guy who has done bad things and doesn't necessarily deny this fact.
Quackity knows he's done bad things, but still believes he is ultimately a good person.
Sam believes that his reason for doing bad things cancels them out and makes them good, and that he is a good person.
All of them are undeniable villians in the smp (whether that be redeemable/moral grey villians is up to interpretation), but not all of them see it that way.

An absolute must read.

The protagonist, Katherine, is the daughter of a noble and only wants to open a bakery to share her love of pastries with the folks of wonderland. But fate has other plans when she is suddenly told of the foolish King's desire to marry her.
I found this novel to be painfully beautiful because as the reader we already know that she is going to marry the king. We know how the story ends. We know and yet we hope stubbornly that she will succeed in her quest to follow her dreams by opening a bakery and be with the one she loves. And when she ultimately fails we can't be surprised; we knew this was coming.
I give this book 5 stars because I will be crying over this book 'till the end of time.

This is an alternative universe of my story that kinda based on sleeping beauty fairytale.
Sometimes we strive to achieve our goals, and on the way we can choose a completely terrible way to achieve them. So, Auntie Digitalis..someone who has always been a support for young Virginia. She listened and memorized every new trick that her niece mastered in secret from her relatives. Well, Digitalis is honing her strength on her own. To be honest, she ended up being just as much a neo-buddhist as the other adults in the village, although her attitude to magic is different. She believes that magic can help nature achieve its "goals," such as cleaning up everything related to progress. Once again, the desire to control prevails over reason, the desire to shut everyone in the village from the outside world, especially her precious niece from "the nonsense and unclean filth from the mouth of a red-haired girl and a red-faced pest that washes Virginia's poor head." It's just obvious that little Virginia, by virtue of her oppositional nature, flared up with rage and resentment at all the lies and madness that her once beloved aunt follows. Having clothed the entire community in thorny grassy thickets, Digitalis did not expect to be rebuffed by the one she wanted so much, as it seemed to her, to protect. Looking at the fearful eyes of her once neighbors and relatives, the gazes of anxiety of those who dared to "mess up the brains" of her baby Virginia, who now only looked at her aunt with anger and contempt, Digitalis had to leave the village hiding in a place unknown to anyone. Gradually, both Virginia's parents and others in the community are trying to adapt to live in harmony with progress. Many of them, of course, are not ready for a big life surrounding themselves with electricity. Makril, Masha and Virginia were able to introduce the simple joys of cycling, the use of magic and spells showed many that it is possible to use the forces of progress without wasting the resources of nature. What I've discovered about myself is that I'm attracted to particularly cruel and feral antagonists because wouldn't it be just lovely to be chosen by someone so powerful? To be caressed by someone as close to a god as it gets, since I'm an atheist who feels so forsaken by a higher being that I hunger for someone as cruel as I imagine God - and all the variations of them - to be, to love me. To show me that yes, though they can crumble the very foundations of what is morally sound beneath their finger tips they can also see the glimmer of something special in a little brunette man with so many dreams and too much anxiety. Is that what religion speaks of? Of feeling loved by someone so much more powerful than you, that being nothing but a speck of dust in their never ending gaze would be enough?
