I went into Ace Attorney blindly other than the knowledge that the fandom loves to ship Phoenix and Edgeworth, and I started the game with the mindset of “yeah, I guess I can kind of see how people would think that the dramatic tension in the courtroom was romantic tension” and am currently holding the mindset of “oh Phoenix wanted to be a defense attorney for the SOLE reason of having the SLIGHTEST CHANCE of seeing Edgeworth again? Ok I see it now.”
