There's two kinds of crows that visit our yard.

I HAVE SEEN EMPIRES RISE AND FALL AND YOURS IS NO DIFFERENT
And we love them both.

OP turned off reblogs so this is my post now. Behold, the "Objective quality vs. degree of ferality" scale
Here are a few of my own personal datapoints:
hey sexy. I can tell by the frequency of your blog updates that you are once again avoiding it all
how it feels being a Plotter having Pantser friends only
or don’t be kind. Don’t make them learn a lesson. Make them worse with no turning back. Let them never be able to deal with what they went through. Make it take years until they are finally able to take a breath again without wanting to die. That’s what life is like sometimes. Merciless. Nonsensical. Painful.
Let them stay up night after night just asking why? Why me? Why me? Why me?
Every happy ending has to be fought for desperately, and even then there’s no guarantee that you get it.
What do they take for granted? Take it away from them.
The one thing they know for certain? Make them doubt it.
Their worst fear? Throw it at their faces.
Make their plans fail. Make them cry. Make them question things and then learn about them and the way they react in the process.
Be mean to your character. Then be kind to them for a while, because after all that they may deserve it.
you may argue “but how do I know if my work is good without feedback?”
and to that I say, the fact that you are simply creating, connecting ideas and bringing them to life on paper is a process so passionate and beautiful, how could it not be good?
even with spelling errors, even with unfinished ideas, even with a strange writing style - it is still art, and it is beautiful.
No matter what they say, there are no rules to art that define good and bad. You are good, for you are an artist <3
my beloved writers,
you need to seriously challenge your mindset of writing for likes and such. You already know you should write for yourself, so do it.
It does not matter. They are numbers.
If your productivity and motivation are tied to how much positive feedback you get, you are killing the artist inside of you. To be an artist means to not be chained down by anything - not opinions, not feedback, not an audience.
It is no complex, hard task to stop caring. Just stop. Stop caring for it. I promise, it will be the most freeing thing you can do for your mind.
Sincerely,
a long recovered Wattpad-Reads-Obsessor.
One of my favorite tropes is „mean/popular girls who turn out to be lesbians“ The drama. The aesthetic.
100 plus points if they are stereotypically (pink) feminine and when they are together they complain about boys until they finally realise they aren’t into boys and that the person that knows and understands them best has been right in front of them the entire fucking time. Please y’all i need MORE of this trope it’s so underrepresented
