For the love of god, share this around. Death can and is going to be portrayed as a black woman. In the Dreaming: Waking Hour #6, we see her as a black woman, so it completely valid for her to be portrayed by a black woman. (The Endless can be portrayed in whatever forms they wish to)
Came across some random pictures from this past summer's comic con- including me forgetting to take off my glasses
Day one of Comic Con complete!! I had so much fun with this cosplay. Shoutout to the one person who recognized me 🫶
I have procrastinated making this post for so longgg
I haven't seen anyone mentioning it yet??
I know it's also a common symbol pin, but Charles' smiley pin looks like a reference to Death's smiley pin she wears in 'Death: The High Cost of Living' to me.
Come on- it's a bit different but still both have relatively similar long black coats with a smiley pin.
It makes a lot of sense, there is a lot of similarity between Charles and Death. They are both the comforters, it's a pretty big part of who they are. They dedicate their life for others' sake, generally such a smiley person but they are also ready to defend and be fierce; they have so much love to give to the world and they try to express it by always wearing a smile.
Death would have loved Charles. They are so similar at their core and would actually get along great.
I know it might sound like a bit of a stretch but I think it's pretty reasonable.
Death can't die!!!!!!!!!!!
Death of the Endless can't die!!!!!!!!
How is Death not there?
She's strong as Lucifer if not more.
She'll be the last one stand simply because you can't take her down. The rules of the universe don't apply on her.
Anyone who read the Lucifer 2016 run knows that god in Lucifer's universe is dead. The presence has died.
But Death? You can't kill her. She'll exist until the last soul dies. Which means she'll stand after EVERYONE. As long there is life there's death. And she's both - she's the concept of life and Death.
Also this things are not about who is the strongest it's about who has the most survival skills-
Even John Constantine bend the presence to his will and tricked him into a deal or something.
This whole list is wrong because they only consider strength and not the ability to adapt and the survival skills. Some of them may be strong but they're not creative at all.
No hate on the person, I just think the AI is stupid as hell.
It came to my mind that Morpheus is not better than Roderick Burgess.
That man trapped him in a Christmas decoration and took advantage of it by using his tools till the literal end of his days.
I remember that I was so pissed off because of this, cause, c'mon, by the greed of one man, countless people paid.
But then, I saw 1.04, where Nada does her aparition, and for a moment, hated Morpheus.
I hated him. So much.
As a dreamer myself, I felt dissapointed at a way I never thought I could be.
I also realized that Morpheus may be the word "Dream" into a man, but he, himself, is not a dreamer.
And how sad it is. How sad it was for me at least, that growed fond of this character, to see this proud, selfish and unforgiving part of him. To see that he is, by far, worse that the man that trapped him. To see that he represents dreams, but he himself is not a dreamer. I suppose that it is part of the charm of his depressed and pale self, after all.
At least Teleute scold 'im and he went to set Nada free, and made sure that she would live an amazing life.
At least in that last action, Morpheus is better, cause he at least choose to be.
And as a dreamer, that made me proud of him, at the end.

Yesterday I had the brilliant idea of going to a park and feed the pigeons.
I was hoping for a raven or a woman with curls that talks about Mary Poppins to approach, but there just children running the birds and pigeons that were particulary interested in coming and stand next to me and to look at me with their red eyes.
I quite understand now why Morpheus did that. It's kind of relaxing to have this little entusiastic birds surrounding you while you see them eat. The sound of their wings is quite lovely too.
This is my coping mechanism now.

What was the saying? Ah, yes, dreaming doesn't cost anything.
Well, what if it turned out that the concept of dreaming was much more than a concept? What if it was, in turn, a man behind glass, and there was once a girl who tried to set him free?
That girl's name was Esther Carrasco, and it turned out that dreaming cost her everything.

Where a new entity, known as the Defiant of Destinies, emerges from the spilled blood of a dreamer.
Just finished rewatching an episode of sandman and getting back into assassins creed and it got me thinking of something.
What would happen if Desmond met any one of the endless (endlesses?)? But also when would this take place? After he died and he just got yeeted to the DC universe or should they just exist in his universe?
Any would probably do but honestly the reaction he could have to meeting them can be both hilarious and angsty at the same time. I’ve mostly thought of it as him going to the DC universe though so that’s what I’m doing.
This leads me to what I first thought when I started thinking which was, Hob and Desmond friendship when? They can talk about their times in different centuries (or in Desmond’s case his ancestors), and just have someone to talk to about their history and experiences. Let the two humans who have experienced history hangout and bond with someone who can get it. This has great friendship material and I want them to figure out the difference between their respective histories with the Templars and Assassins and where they aren’t involved with anymore. Imagine Desmond just sometimes hangs out with him either before or after Hob’s class for the day and people just think he’s a friend or a student of his.
Also Dream and Desmond friendship because they both need more friends in their life. Same thing with Hob in the fact they have both been through something similar with the kidnapping. One is probably worse than the other but Dream is immortal and was separated from his kingdom and lost his tools for years. Desmond was used to by Abstergo and later the assassins and the isu during his kidnapping. Both suffered a lot with Dream coming back to his kingdom and it being abandoned and in ruins while having his tools he needs being gone and having to deal with getting all his subjects back home and deal with the vortex problem, and Desmond having his head fucked with the memories of his ancestors and the bleeding effect and ultimately dying. Please just let them trauma bond. Maybe tiny romance or something cause I can’t see Hob with Desmond that much and I really don’t think he would really get along that well with some of the other endlesses (cough desire cough)
Shout out to Death, best sister and would probably figure out his death and apparent resurrection and handle it with stride. I can see her seeing him a couple of times for a chat. I could see their first conversation being her telling him not to see her again so soon after being brought back and Desmond being all ??? He’d probably meet her first honestly cause there is no way death is not there for his sudden death and resurrection in that world. A dead man who didn’t even exist until that moment just rising from the dead would definitely get her attention. I feel like she would introduce him to the others or maybe just Dream.
A thought just hit me regarding Death and Dream. If he gets sent there before Dreams escape she could see if he can check on him for her since he’s been missing. This likely doesn’t happen immediately but I think she would ask it as something she would appreciate but that he didn’t have to do. I could see this being how Desmond meets Dream and how they start a friendship of sorts and later down the line, if you want, a relationship between the two. Dream would probably think he wants something from him and just tries find out while Desmond is just here rolling with the punches. This could lead to them working together in finding Dreams tools or Desmond getting random meetings with Dream as he tries to find out his motives for saving him as “there is no way he saved me just because my sister asked nicely, he must be planning something”
Idk random thoughts and all that jazz. I go to bed now
beautiful.
